Reverend Timothy B. Johnson Transitional SENIOR PASTOR

Tim was called to be the Transitional Pastor of ECC Attleboro, starting September 1, 2023. He comes to Attleboro after serving Bloomington Covenant Church (Minneapolis area) for 18 years. He has also served other churches in Minnesota, Michigan and Maryland.

Tim is married to Cyd (Cyndi). They have three adult married children and four grandchildren who live in Minneapolis and Chicago. They also have a Wheaten Terrier named Ole (as in Minnesota “Ole & Lina” jokes) who makes them laugh every day.

In 2021 Tim received a grant for a three month sabbatical. Among other things, Tim and Cyd spent time in Munich, Germany, then a small town in the Austrian Alps, and finally in Rome, Tuscany & Florence. Yes, the food, the wine, and the gelato were amazing!

Having returned to the East Coast after years in the Midwest, Tim and Cyd are delighting in fresh seafood, new places to explore and, most of all, discovering how God is at work in this loving and welcoming congregation called ECC Attleboro.

Along with Cyd, Tim loves walking, being deep in the woods, kayaking, listening to live music, trying new things and reading broadly. As a pastor, he appreciates being with people of all sorts - distant from faith, new to faith, long in faith, wrestling with questions, and seeking safe places. Cyd works as a pediatric RN and enjoys mentoring, meeting with others for prayer, study and encouragement, knitting and exploring new places.

J. Senja Morgan started serving in music ministry during January 2020, relocating back to her home state from Wheaton, Illinois after 27 years. She served at two Anglican parishes each for ten years (Christ Church, Fitchburg MA, and St Marks, Geneva IL) plus 5-year callings each at a Methodist, Lutheran, and most recently Presbyterian church in the Chicagoland area. She has also taught private voice and piano lessons to students of all ages, including those with special needs.

Her ultimate goal in music ministry is for everyone to be able to praise the Lord through music with their God-given gifts to the fullest potential.

Senja has been married to Timothy since 1989, and they have three adult children: two daughters Fiona and Jaffrey, and a son Mathias, who was born with Down syndrome. They all enjoy swimming and boating at the summer lake cabin that Senja's grandfather built in her home town of Lunenburg, MA.

Amy blenkhorn
little blessings director

Amy Blenkhorn’s passion for early childhood education has developed over the last 25 years. She studied elementary education at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and went on to teach three and four year olds at a preschool in her hometown.  After a short time, working with young children, she fell in love with that age group and has worked with little ones ever since.

Amy grew up in Medway and still lives there with her husband and three almost grown children. She worships at a local church there and has been involved in various Bible studies and ministries there. She has taught preschool in a variety of settings- private schools, public schools, summer camps and after school programs- but most of her experience has been in faith based, church preschools. It has been such a blessing for Amy to be able to teach and share her love for Jesus and the Bible. Children learn and grow so much during the first few years of their lives and it is exciting to plant seeds of curiosity and seeds of faith.

Amy is excited to lead the Little Blessings staff and students in growing and learning and loving others.
