East coast conference

The East Coast Conference is one of the eight regional conferences in the Evangelical Covenant Church. The conference is called to carry out our mission to the peoples in twelve east coast states and the District of Columbia: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, eastern New York, New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. We are a movement of God, organized in 1889. We are gathered by God, united in Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit to obey the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.

Believing we are a movement of God, the mission of the Conference is to:

  • Multiply congregations, by planting new missional churches

  • Orchestrate ministries, by connecting district churches for shared ministry & mission

  • Vitalize congregations, by coaching pastors and church leaders to embrace renewal

  • Empower leaders, by building a culture of trustworthy Christian leadership

Pilgrim pines

Pilgrim Pines is the camp and conference center of the East Coast Conference in the Evangelical Covenant Church dedicated to providing fantastic programs for campers of all ages. From our children's and youth camp, to our men's and women's conferences, the goal is the same - to create exciting experiences, memorable moments, and a safe place to meet God. Whether it is through our faith-stretching ropes course, phenomenal worship and teaching, unforgettable camp activities, or simply relaxing by the lake, a camping experience at Pilgrim Pines provides a breath of fresh air in the midst of our hectic world.

Pilgrim Pines invites all people from their routines into opportunities to grow, experience renewal, and enjoy re-creation and relationships, so that they will experience God through Jesus Christ.

The Vision of Pilgrim Pines is to be a ministry which partners with churches, to create shared experiences of Christian formation, recreational activities, and ministry opportunities for families, youth, and adults.

Women’s ministries of the East coast conference

Our Conference also runs and supports Women Ministries, whose goal is to be "a year-round resource to assist women in your church to grow in their own faith and reach out to others." You can find more information, including retreat dates, ministries to mothers, and the Advocating for Victims of Abuse.

Attleboro area interfaith collaborative

The Attleboro Area Interfaith Collaborative is a network of Churches and volunteers focused on serving those in need; families, children, homeless, hungry, elderly, and ill. To meet the emergency food needs of this region, we run 6 soup kitchens, two Family Cafes, and deliver Breakfast Bags.

For spiritual care during illness we employ two Chaplains at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

The Council of Churches is often first responder, meeting an extraordinarily wide range of human needs like diapers for a desperate mother, a train ticket, a night of shelter, shoes, heat, utilities, all given with a focus on personal attention, guidance and coordination with available area resources.

The Council welcomes ALL denominations and people to join in our work.

The mission of LYNN Ministries is to be the earthly hands and feet of Jesus Christ by sharing the Gospel and serving those in need with love and compassion. We focus on people living on the margins of society in Brockton, Taunton, and Attleboro, and our goal is to restore their dignity and value through prayer, accountability, and necessary provisions.

New England Seafarers Mission is an outreach ministry of the local church that serves the international seafarers of the maritime business community. Our goal is to bring the comforting presence of God onboard the ships we visit, offering spiritual and physical assistance where we can. Our ordained chaplains and trained lay ship visitors reach out in the ways of advocacy, companionship, support and prayer. During our busy cruise ship ministry, we are assisted by caring volunteers who offer their time and talent to create an oasis of help and a house of prayer for crew members.
