Homeless Awareness Weekend

Working to end homelessness and feed families in Attleboro and beyond

Homeless Awareness Weekend is an annual event to raise awareness of the reality of homelessness in our communities and funds to end it. We bring high school students along to sleep outside in cardboard boxes (usually) for two nights in November, and then raise funds from stopped cars at the corner of Robert Toner Blvd. and Route 152 in Attleboro.

These experiences help our students to feel a small slice of the physical, mental, and spiritual exhaustion of someone without a home. It energizes us to work toward ending homelessness in our area, as well as serve in ministries that help people who are homeless or who are at risk of loosing their homes.

All money raised during the weekend goes to those kinds of ministries. Recently, we have sent those donations to:
